UCGPC Graduate Summit 2023, a dynamic and inclusive gathering designed to empower graduate and professional students, student affairs staff who serve them, and community advocates. This free event is a unique opportunity to connect, learn, and collaborate on issues that matter most to the graduate and professional student community in the University of California.
Keynote Address: We are honored to have California Secretary of State Dr. Shirley Weber as our keynote speaker, sharing insights and inspiration.
Engaging Workshops: Explore critical topics in higher education policy, campus climate, access and disability justice, and student health through interactive workshops and discussions.
Networking: Connect with like-minded individuals, share experiences, and build valuable relationships within the graduate and professional student community.
Community Advocacy: Learn about advocacy strategies and initiatives aimed at promoting social justice and equity within higher education.
Culinary Experience: Enjoy a full day of learning with breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided to keep you energized and engaged.
Advocacy Agenda: Following a robust discussion of issues, the UCGPC Board will determine its advocacy agenda for the year, focusing on our permanent campaigns: Basic needs and civic engagement. In the 2022-2023 academic year, our annual campaigns addressed graduate student mental health and mentorship standards.
